In his works Cervantes mentions different buildings or places in Valladolid, such as the Hospital of the Resurrection, the parish church of San Llorente (or San Lorenzo), the Royal Palace, the River Pisuerga, the Fuente de Argales or El Espolón.
Some of these have disappeared and the appearance of others has changed completely, but a visit to them and the recreation of the events that took place near his house offers a ‘Cervantes trail’ which finishes up at his statue.
